Make Money Online with Integrity

Before we begin our venture together, I want to run something by you. I came across this question posted on one of the forums I visited not too long ago:

"If one word could be used to peg the right direction in Internet Marketing today, what would that word be?"

There were several responses with good choice words, but the one that stuck with me was Honesty. With that in mind, I welcome you to my website.

My Philosophy for Making Money Online - Focus on the product/service -- not just the opportunity. - Be willing to share and help others help themselves. - Earn the trust and respect of other online marketers. - Never forget the fact that YOU were a newbie also. - Always be honest in your dealing with others.

According to Internet World Stats, as of June 30, 2006, there were over 1 billion internet users worldwide, and based on YaHoo statistics, there are roughly 150,000 searches per month on the phrase "work at home" and another 43,000 searches on the phrase "make money online".

Most of these searches are by people wanting to better their situations, whether it be unemployed, low-income, disabled, retired, or in my case, planning for retirement.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of marketers (sometimes called "guru") out there hyping up their antiquated ebooks and software, rehashed "secrets to success" and "amazing new formulas" that are way too expensive or useless for the typical, inexperiended online newbie.

What I personally don't like is that many only teach the newbie how to take advantage of the next "sucker" by reselling the same information. The cycle never ends! If you're an "anti-guru", you and I are going to get along just fine!

It's easy to fall pray to the hype because most Internet marketing newbies would prefer to work at home and make money online with little or no effort and do it for free and they believe it can happen when they see the example checks and daily earnings of seasoned marketers who've been around for awhile.

I wish I could tell you that it's possible, but that just wouldn't be the truth. No matter what you see or hear, it's going to be a lot of work in the beginning and you will have to spend some money. The good news is, it doesn't have to be alot. You have to stay within your budget.

You can't just open an offline business without hard work and financial investment, can you? Well, you can't do it online either. Fortunately, you don't have spend anywhere near as much as you would on an offline business.

Now I understand you don't know me from a hill of beans or if I'm not just another "guru' using a different approach. Well, my name is Edward Gause and the fact is, I am using a different approach -- honesty!

I am not an expert. I'm an Internet Marketing hobbyist and have been doing this off and on for almost 10 years, so I do know my way around the block. I call myself a hobbyist because I don't invest a lot of time or money.

My primary focus is on Affiliate Marketing and Residual Income programs. You can learn more about these type programs by reading What is Affiliate Marketing? and What is Residual Income?

Affiliate marketing works for me because I don't have my own product. Selling other people's product or service allows me to earn an income without all the hassle. Residual Income programs work for me because, I will still be earning an income long after I stop promoting (if and when that day ever arrives).

I don't believe in plugging opportunities over products or services that are worthless just to make a dollar. If you can't get any benefit from it, don't pawn it off on someone else just for the money. This is where I will be rich: helping others to succeed.

I also have this problem with honesty. It's really difficult for me to do the "make massive income like me..." type sales pitches if I'm only earning an average $90 monthly!

I am confident that number will grow over time. It'll just take me longer because I do it part-time and I do it without mis-truths. If this is not your style, I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.
